jiggypregame.jpgAfter an evening of digesting the Anaheim Ducks Stanley Cup victory, I’ve stumbled upon a bunch of articles related to the magnitude of this accomplishment.

Brian Burke, the GM and mastermind behind this team, said it well in this article.

Coach, Randy Carlyle, provides his own insight to his experience.

The Neidermayer Brothers have a special moment in winning the Cup.

Teemu Selanne shed tears at the end.

Scott Neidermayer receives the Conn Smythe Award for Playoff MVP.

Here’s a link to players comments after the game.

Kudos to a classy Ottawa Senator’s team. It was a difficult series for them as they tried to find answers to their disappointing loss.

Overall, I feel that this Ducks team was the best in all aspects of the game and look forward to next season. A good majority of players will be back, but there are a few that will be asking for raises and may depart. We wish the off-season treats the team and fans well.

Perhaps with this success, the Ducks and other westcoast teams, have league respect that was overlooked by many in other faraway places (primarily the eastcoast).

Is this a new dynasty in the making? We can only dream…

Go Ducks in 2007-2008!
