Ducks Beat Sharks, 2-1 SO
Chris Kunitz scored first, a first period goal… No additional scoring in the first and second periods. During the third, the Sharks tied it up with just under 13:00 left and made it interesting.
With nothing more going in the net for either team during the final period, they went to overtime but nothing much happened there either. So, it went to another shootout and Corey Perry earned the game-winner for the Ducks as J.S Giguere stopped all three San Jose attempts.
Go Ducks!
10-8-1-2 (23 points), 2nd in the Pacific Division
