Ducks Win vs. Colorado, 3-2 (SO).
With the San Jose Sharks and Dallas Stars both losing tonight, the Ducks had a chance to move up in the rankings of the Pacific Division. However, they were down 2-1 entering the final period which didn’t feel too good.
So, was it going to be one of those final periods for the Ducks? Sure enough, Rob Neidermayer scored the equalizer in the third and held the Avalanche in scoring to send the game into overtime.
In the OT session, both teams had several scoring opportunities but no one scored. So, it was off to a shootout and Corey Perry netted the only puck to win it for the Ducks!
