Ducks beat Oilers, 5-1

Now, that’s an impressive win!!! I didn’t watch much of the game this evening but from what I understand, the PPG line did rather well in containing the struggling Edmonton Oilers at Honda Center.

Ryan Getzlaf had two goals and an assist, Corey Perry and Dustin Penner each had a goal and an assist.  This was Anaheim’s fourth straight victory.

Andy McDonald scored his 20th goal and Ilya Bryzgalov made 28 saves for the Pacific Division leaders, helping send Edmonton to its sixth straight loss. The Ducks have 41 victories and lead the division with 93 points. They are two wins and five points from equaling the franchise record both set last season.  (Thank you Yahoo Sports for the quick recap used in this post.)

That’s a nicely earned 2 points for sure!  Go Ducks!!!
