All Thumbs Dot Me

Over the Memorial Day weekend, I decided to do some cleaning up of the backyard.  The stars were aligned in both having the time and the energy for the project.  It took a few hours to get to the point that you see in the video, but the results are dramatic.  Unfortunately, I don’t have any before shots but imagine that some of the areas had weeds that were roughly at knee level.  The hoe and weed-whacker really did the job for me!  Now, my arms are paying a small price for the workout…

Although, it’s not all yet done, I had some significant progress in the right direction.  The side walkway is a lot more accessible and people can now freely walk on it without getting brushed by leaves and branches!

My next step will be to work on the grass.  I’m still debating on whether or not to resod or reseed.  Resodding would entail the removal of all the surviving grass and I’m not sure what reseeding would require.  Guess I’ve got some research to do and weigh the pros and cons for both…
