It was nearly over… The Ducks were up, 1-0 against the Dallas Stars this evening with just over six seconds left in the third period when Brenden Morrow tied it for the Stars with the extra man after pulling goaltender Marty Turco.
The overtime period didn’t produce a victor, so it was off to another shootout and guess what happened? Yep, we lost to the Stars with the only shootout goal was converted by Ladislav Nagy in the fourth round of shots.
The Ducks are now one point away from the Pacific Division title with the final game tomorrow night in Columbus. Guess it’ll be one of those down-to-the-wire finishes for the Ducks, again! Go Ducks!
