Here’s my newest episode for the week of March 30th (Episode 28).

For those of you new to my podcast, I’ve been a fan of the Anaheim Ducks hockey team for quite some time and I created this podcast as both a podcasting experiment and to spread the word of my interest with the Anaheim Ducks professional hockey team.

Please note that this is my final ADWR episode as I’m in the process of creating a site (GoDucksHockey.com) on the Ducks happenings. My starting point will be this year’s playoffs! So, tune in to the new site and subscribe!

Ducks Win vs. Phoenix, 3-2 SO.

I started listening to this one when the Ducks were down 2-0 in the third period. Guess this game was more of a formality than anything else. Anaheim had already secured home ice against the Dallas Stars a couple nights ago so there didn’t seem to be the typical Ducks’ swagger out there on the ice.

With 7:01 left in the game, Chris Kunitz scored to cut the deficit to 2-1. Then, Bobby Ryan tied it up 43 seconds later. Interesting situation, but nothing happened during the rest of regulation and the subsequent OT.

In the Shootout, Ryan Getzlaf scored the game winner for the Ducks to end the last game of the season for all NHL teams.

Ducks Win @Los Angeles, 4-3.

With the game tied 3-3 at the beginning of the third period, the Ducks managed an additional goal to win this one on the road at Staples Center against the lowly Los Angeles Kings, 4-3.

With the Dallas Stars losing the previous night, the Ducks captured home ice advantage in the first round of the playoffs which begin in a few days!

With a chance to create more breathing space in the playoff standings with Dallas, the Anaheim Ducks won it in a shootout, 3-2.
