About This Station

The station is powered by a Davis Vantage Pro Wireless weather station. The data is collected every 2 seconds and the site is updated every 5 minutes. This site and its data is collected using Weather Display Software. The station comprises of an anemometer, rain gauge, barometer  and a thermo-hydro sensor situated in optimal positions for highest accuracy possible.

About This Place

This station is located on the Island of Maui in the State of Hawaii in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. The elevation is about 1,500 feet (approx. 500 meters) above sea level, situated on a 10,000 foot (approx. 3.3 KM) mountain slope of Mount Haleakala. (House of the Sun)
